Insurance and Payment Information
Neurology Center of Virginia currently accepts Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare, Optima Health, Southern Health, Tricare and VHN. Other insurances will be posted as soon as they are available.
You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance. If you have questions regarding billing or which insurance plans we accept, please contact us. Questions regarding insurance coverage and benefits should be directed to your employer or insurance company.
All prescriptions must be obtained at the time of visit. It is the patient's responsibility to handle prescriptions with care. If a prescription refill is needed, patients are to contact their pharmacy and have a request faxed to our office. Please allow at least 3 business days for requests to be processed. Kindly note that our office will not process any requests on weekends or holidays and refills for lost or stolen prescriptions.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Our office requires 24-hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. There is a standard fee of $35 for missed appointments or appointments not cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours.
Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information. It is given to all new patients, and a copy is available upon request.
